At Germantown Allergy and Asthma, our mission is to provide each patient with the highest quality, individualized care based on the latest evidence-based medicine. We treat adult and pediatric patients for a wide range of conditions, including: allergic rhinitis, asthma, sinusitis, eczema, contact dermatitis, hives, food and drug allergies, venom allergy, and immunodeficiencies. Our specialized services include: allergy skin testing, pulmonary function testing, patch testing, immunotherapy (allergy shots), rush immunotherapy (accelerated allergy shots), food and drug challenges.
Our practice is led by Dr. Leon Kao, who is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology. He completed his fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, has presented his research at national meetings, and is published in leading medical journals. Known for his thoroughness, knowledge and gentle bedside manner, he values shared decision making to deliver quality care that patients appreciate.
More recently, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Dilawar S. Khokhar, who joined our practice in April 2025. Board-certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Internal Medicine, Dr. Khokhar previously served as clinical faculty at the University of Washington Medical Center for 3 years in Seattle. With his extensive knowledge and experience in managing Food Oral Immunotherapy, he has proven to be a valuable addition to our practice. Equally charismatic, witty and kind, he has quickly won over the trust of our patients.
